Being mindful is about being aware. How to heighten your sense of awareness? Sit in a chair. Feel it supporting your seat, your back, your legs? Most times we just sit down and have no particular consciousness of what’s holding us up. The same’s true of traveling through life. Notice next time you’re in a lunch spot…is it noisy?…is it restful?…is it peaceful? Just notice.
